making a BIG decision ~

I submitted my resignation letter to my Senior Manager Mr Ho, & My Manager last nite...
SM Mr Ho immediately email me request to see me, but later he had a meeting to attend, so he arrange to meet me later...

HR Julie called me up asked me " Eileen, u throw ur letter le arh?" i said yup, den she ask me if my boss mgr did speak to me abt my resign? i said no, she nv say anything. Julie request to meet me so i went 2 Com1 to meet her. I told her abt my decision & resaon why i do so... She understand how i feel but she feel that i should re-consider again lor.. she said she will hold on to the letter first, ask me to tok to Mr Ho first den tell her my decision... before i left, i ask her how did she get to know i threw the letter. she said my mgr email her to ask her if i did submit to her as well, so she called me up...

When i went back to office, e proj mgr Richard ask me to see him outside e office. He was shock to noe that i actually resigned. He pursue me not o resign, ask me to stay on & say there will be changes.. I shared all my thoughts & reasons with him, he understand but still insist me to stay on....

Next is Mr Ho, same thing, he oso ask me to withdraw my letter & hang on.. ask me to wait for another mths or 2... there will be changes... i shared with him e same thing... but he still insist me to re-consider again.. so i promised the 3 of them that i will think through & give them my decision tml.

I rec'd a lot of calls from sales asking me why i resign? Everyone was so shocked & ask me to stay on.... I'm really very very very touch to noe that actually so many ppl appreciated me & especially my SM, HR & Proj Mgr who give me e recognitions, give me the fullest support & keep pursuing me to stay on... they really went so out to help me... Mr Ho oso shared with me that he actually asked Chelvam abt me. He asked Chelvam how he find me, Chelvam told him that I'm a very responsible person & very helpful, always go all out to help the sales & everyone, maybe that is e reason why i oways can't finish my work on time.. Mr Ho told me that he is actually very shock when Chelvam told him this, becuz i had comment to him that my mgr had feedback that i'm not responsible at all...

Well, i'm really really feel so console that i'm actually appreciated & i now noe that i am not some one who has no contribution to the company...

End of the day, there's something that really really disappointed me... My mgr, she got my letter, but she has no reaction. Everyone else reacted, SM, Richard, HR, sales, 1 by 1 came to meet me, find out from me, but she had no reaction. To me, it goes to show that i am so not impt to her, my resign in nth to her. She like tryin to tell me "resign lor, i dun mind"... I'm really disappointed.. I mean of coz i dun expect her to pursue me or wat, but at least show me some reaction like " u really think through and wanted to go?" sth lik tt.. but NOTHING from her !!!

Yvonne shared with me that my Director Andrew actually ask her to tok to me, ask me to stay, very touch tt director actually do this lor... Today i really see the true colour. I'm actually very much appreciated by all the people around me EXCEPT for that WOMAN ! I tell myself, at least even if i still decided to go, i can leave SingTel with my head lifted up ! i dun leave becuz of bad performance...

Okie, gotta think it through again tonite.. I shall learn to make a BIG decision for my life, ON MY OWN !!! but i still wanna say, NO MATTER WAT MY DECISION IS, SINGTEL WILL STILL BE MY PRIOR COMPANY TO WORK IN... I STILL LOVE SINGTEL !!!
Maybe i might still leave but if there is any request for me to return, i will NOT HESITATE to come back !

What should i do ???

I'm not being confirm for my current job really make me so down these days.. All e bad comments from My Mgr really hurt me deep...

Sammie appeared in office yday( 19.02.08) to give a hard punch on my arm "Xiao Mei, bu ke yi zhe yang jiu liu yan lei okie!", reminding me not to tears just like that... Thank u Sammie for the hard punch !!!

Am thinking hard if i should take my leave, not that i wanna avoid but i had another offer outside and i thought of giving it a try. I'm young & i guess i should go for some exposure out there & learn some new things. Opportunity dun just come like that wor...

Andy Lim heard tt i wanna leave, he gave me alot of advise, ask me not to.... Also, a hard & firm pat on my shoulder "Xiao Mei, Jiayou okie !!!" Thanks Andy !

The sales person- Eric & Darren also ask me not to leave, they ask me to trf dept to their side, but i cannot... HR dun allow me to trf... Eric & Darren offer to help me get their agency so that i can be re-employed into sales... but i guess it wun works la.. Thanks guys anyway!

I had a meeting with Mr Ho, My Senior Mgr. I was really shock to find out from him that it was not his intention of asking me to leave & not his intention of not confirmin me, he said he was not even in tt mtg with HR !!! I shared alot with him & he gave me alot alot of advise... he ask me how he can help me, i told him i really dunnu how he can help... Thank u Mr Ho for all e advise & support... i told him i hav plan to leave, but he insist to have me stay in here... He say things will change, Andy told me the same thing too... But i really dunnu how much longer can i wait, how much longer can i take it...
Mr Ho oso confess that my EOs have bad feedbacks on me... they simply dun understand wat i'm doing and gave all those rubbish feedbacks! Hey, really so unfair to me lor!!!

I very very very glad & touch with all e support e sales teams & Mr Ho shown me ! thank u for e recognition & advises.. all those punches & pat means alot to me !!! Thank u all !!!

Happy Valentine's & a super heartbroken day!

It's Valentines again !!!

well, nth special for me, another no valentine's V'day! i have not celebrate any V'day before.. it's doesn't seems fated with me... haiz.. i hope i do have a chance nxt yr !

Though no valentines, but i have lots of frenz & colleagues ard me who send me warming V'day wishes... all my dears & darling from bizsales, CRC, CPE, etc... love u guys !!!

But a sad note.. i had my review on my confirmation with my boss... It's a bad news... I day shattered after that... I'm not being confirmed !!!
The feedback i had sucks..

Few to be lists:
I'm not good as my prev. Shi Fu - Kelvin,
I've no responsiblity in work,
No Teamwork with my EO/Mgr
They couldn't manage me,
I got attitute problem,
Sales are complaining that I created alot of mistakes & mess
No sense of urgency, no sense of priority,
Not able to handle customer complain effectively,
Did not do follow up with sales issue,
Inability,
No Quality work,
Wilful,

Am i that bad ??? That sucks ???

She asked me if I'm interested in this job, should she hold me back or release me ?

hey, am i really tt bad ? nth good abt me? u mean i did nth, contribute nth but create only mess & trouble? Almost 3yrs in this company, almost 2 yrs in this position, but nth is being recgonise ??? 6mths of probation failed !!!

Really this bad ??????? Not worth a thing & should take my leave??? Is that so ???

CNY Day 2 & 3

Yoz.. Day 2 of CNY...
same yearly routine...
after Day 1 whereby all came to my palce, Day 2, we all proceed to my 2nd aunty's place bai nian, dinner.. hehe... well, not so grand as she has only 1 dinning table in the house & we have to take turns to eat.. hehe..

this year, i was invited to my Darling - Mandy's house.. I had my dinner there & had fun chatting & gathering with some current & ex-colleagues... Mandy's son - Ping Ping so cute !!! He really talented in 'beating" the drum... the rhymth & tempo were so right.. He's only 3 yrs mind u!!!
After dinner @ Mandy's place, i went back to 2nd aunty's place to gather with family again.. haha
Day 3...
Wah... Her Mum such a great cook !!! nice dinner , but i din eat much due to my diet plan.. SMELLING THEM IS REALLY A WONDER !!!

this year, I'm invited to my newly wedd colleague - Georgina's place for gathering... Gerogina & Eric got married in Jan & I'm involved in hellping out in their wedding.. This is the first time ever she's giving ang pao... she's so nervous... We had to think of some CNY greetings to say to her before she 'release' the ang pao... It's so hard to get her ang pao !!!

CNY Day 1 - Relatives gather @ my house !

Yoz.. Happy New Year!
This is wat happen every single CNY Day 1 where all my relatives gathers @ my house... We used to gather @ my Grandparents house, but since they passed away, all my relatives shifted the venue to my house... (just 1 blk away from my late grandparents' place). Most impt reason is, they are all here to offer joss stick to my late grandparents.
